The original war shields of the Native Americans were imprinted with images of the spirit animal of the warrior and believed to take on the characteristics of that animal. These hand crafted works of art done individually, painstakingly one at a time, can be special ordered to the size or image you prefer. The image is burned into leather, (deer, elk or goat) and stretched over a metal ring to create a unique wall hanging (special orders only on bison-not stretched).
