The outside area features a large swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, tennis courts, putting green, several commercial grade gas barbecues set in stone, a convenience shop, activities center, and a sandwich shop.

Sugar Beach Resort is in a premium location, on the finest beach on the island - about five miles long and no rocks! The complex is only fifty feet from the water, and is centrally located on the island. Driving time from the airport is ten minutes, downtown Kihei is five minutes, and Lahaina is twenty five minutes. During the winter months, from December through March, you will see Humpback whales in the bay.

There are many exciting activities to experience on Maui! Among our favorites are biking, snorkeling, tennis, golf, sailing, deep sea fishing, scuba diving, dining out, and lounging by the pool. If you wish, the activities desk can arrange any activity.

You will find the condo beautifully equipped! Virtually everything is provided. You only need to rent a car, and buy food. All of the major car rental companies are located on the island. I have found that Alamo usually has the best prices. Please reserve your car early, as they do run out of cars on occasion.

My condo, unit # 236, is on the second floor (see home page for location). It is an ocean front unit, one bedroom, one bath, of about 800 square feet. It is completely remodeled and has all the conveniences of a home. The condo has its own telephone, restricted to local calls. You can use a calling card for any long distance calls. Maid service is not provided. There is high-speed internet access in the condo, available by credit card charge.
